Virgin River Calendar Photo Contest

We are currently accepting photos for the 2028 Virgin River Program Calendar!

Each year, the Virgin River Program creates a calendar featuring photographs of the Virgin River Basin.  The Grand Prize Winner will receive a prize and their photo will be featured on the calendar's cover.

These calendars are printed each December and distributed for free to schools and municipal offices throughout Washington County. They are also available to the public at no cost at the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Washington County Field Office and the Washington County Water Conservancy District Office.

To enter:

• Use the form to the right to submit photos.
• Fill the form again for each additional submission.
• Each photographer may submit up to 10 entries.
• Photos should highlight aspects of the Virgin River and tributaries, including water, landscapes, wildlife, seasons, and all the river's uses.
• Due to calendar format, photos should be submitted in a landscape orientation.
• Submissions should be free of watermarks and signatures.
• Photos need to have a high enough resolution they can be enlarged to print at 9x12" without losing definition.

By submitting a photograph you grant the Virgin River Program permission to publish and use your photo in the calendar, and on our official website.
